A Note from Our Founder
"I started Namano Technology Inc. back in 2001, but my journey with data started long before that. I've spent more than 30 years in IT, mainly in banking and software services, and I've always had a thing for finding patterns and making messy stuff make sense.
Early in my career, I was put in charge of large-scale data migration projects for financial institutions—everything from ancient ledger cards to outdated digital systems got transformed into secure, modern platforms. These weren't simple tasks. They demanded intense attention to detail, validation, and restructuring of massive datasets to meet high-stakes compliance and security requirements.
Eventually, I became Head of Information Systems at a major bank, where I built the IT department from the ground up and oversaw the organization's full transition to digital. Later, I launched my own consultancy and worked with banks and credit unions across the Caribbean for many years.
These days, I volunteer with a national advocacy group, cleaning and compiling data into structured, searchable formats. Whether it's for banking systems or nonprofits, every project I take on keeps me grounded in what I love: making data useful again.
